Meet the team dedicated to building college-ready athletes through discipline, structure, and holistic development.
We provide structured volleyball skill development and performance training with clear progression.
Coaching, training, and athlete development for volleyball players on Oahu.
ProspectsHI is not a recreational camp. We are an elite athletic development facility built for serious volleyball players who are committed to reaching the next level.
Operating out of a 9,000 sq ft two-court volleyball facility with a dedicated 1,500 sq ft strength room, we provide the infrastructure and the expertise required to develop college-ready athletes.
Our benchmark is national best-in-class, not local. We draw our methodologies from peer-reviewed sports science, USA Volleyball guidelines, and the documented practices of elite national programs. We demand focus, effort, and coachability — and in return, we develop athletes who improve visibly and compete at a higher level.

Our technical curriculum is built by a coach with 25+ years of experience across high school, club, international, and USA Volleyball High Performance programs.
Every program is grounded in peer-reviewed sports science, NSCA guidelines, and the LTAD framework for age-appropriate development.
Our Complete Athlete Session guarantees 4 elite coaches on the floor simultaneously — ensuring individualized attention.
We develop the whole athlete: technical skills, physical performance, mental toughness, and recruiting readiness.

Lee Lamb has been coaching volleyball since 2000. He moved to Hawai'i from Delaware in 2003 and co-founded Ka Ulukoa Volleyball Club in 2007 — building it into one of the most respected development programs in the state.
As head coach at LJA, Lee led the girls' program to the HHSAA Division II State Championship 6 times in 8 years, winning 3 state titles and guiding LJA to its first-ever state tournament appearance by any team sport at the school. He also coached the boys' program to its first state championship final. His coaching has extended to the USAV High Performance Championships and international competition in the Philippines and Croatia.
ProspectsHI is the vehicle through which Lee brings that standard of development to individual athletes. Coaching is not what he does — it is who he is.

Geno Hawkins brings six years of club volleyball coaching experience to ProspectsHI, and recently took on his first high school head coaching role. His energy and commitment to athlete development make him a key part of the coaching staff.
In 2025, Geno was part of the coaching staff that won a National Championship in Chicago. He also served as assistant coach to the 3rd-place team at the 18U Girls National Championship in the Philippines — bringing international high-performance experience directly to ProspectsHI athletes.
Geno manages the operational flow of ProspectsHI while actively coaching on the floor — ensuring every session runs with the structure and intensity that athletes need to improve.
Our CAS Standard sessions are designed for athletes with 1-2 years of competitive club experience, ages 14 and under. CAS Advanced is for athletes with 3+ years of competitive club experience, ages 14+. Our Summer Foundations Academy (through Ka Ulukoa) accepts athletes as young as 8. We do not offer beginner sessions for athletes over the age of 12. We recommend starting with a free Elite Assessment so we can evaluate your athlete and recommend the right entry point.
Some experience is helpful for our CAS sessions, but it's not required. Our assessment will determine your athlete's current level and place them in the appropriate training tier. The CAS Standard level is specifically designed for developing athletes.
Most parents report noticeable changes in confidence, movement quality, and technical skills within the first 3-4 weeks of consistent attendance. Our Summer 2026 CAS feedback showed improvements in speed, reaction time, hitting mechanics, and overall court confidence across the cohort.
Our programs run in defined training blocks (e.g., the Summer/Fall CAS Program is 11 weeks, August 3 through October 17). You enroll for the block, and payment is split into installments over the program period. There are no open-ended subscriptions or cancellation fees — each block is a complete commitment with a clear start and end date.
Athletic shoes (court shoes preferred for volleyball), comfortable athletic clothing, a water bottle, and a positive attitude. We provide all training equipment including volleyballs, weights, and performance tools.
Club volleyball focuses on team competition and tournament play. ProspectsHI focuses on individual athlete development — the skills, strength, and athletic performance that make your athlete better regardless of which club team they play for. Many of our athletes train with us AND play club volleyball.
Absolutely. Our programs are designed to complement club volleyball, not replace it. The CAS system builds the individual skills and physical performance that make your athlete more valuable to any club team. We coordinate scheduling to avoid conflicts with major club programs.
Each 90-minute Complete Athlete Session uses a dual-court rotation: Group A trains volleyball skills on Court 1 while Group B does athletic performance training on Court 2, then they swap. This guarantees every athlete gets 45 minutes of each discipline with 4 coaches on the floor simultaneously.
Every serious athlete and family on Oahu knows that ProspectsHI is where champions are built. Start your journey today.
